Welcome to Basstards Fishing Blog
Greetings fine fisherwomen and fishermen of the internet,
This is a fishing blog brought to you by a bunch of lades and gentlemen who absolutely love fishing. We come from Ontario Canada and bass are some of the best game out there, as a result we are the “basstards”. That and it’s a witty name to help explain our passion for fishing. It’s also something many fishermen have heard from their wives as they sneak out the door at 5am “Where are you going, you selfish basstard?!”
That said, we’ll take anything we can get as long as it puts up a good fight and didn’t swallow the hook, we’re happy.
It is winter in Canada now and I (Rob) the main blogger and guy running this site am in Asia where I have done some fishing. This blog will be updated with fishing stories as they come.
We also make fishing t-shirts and are currently thinking of making “cool travel gear” that doesn’t suck for people who believe money belts are for geriatrics but still want to keep their things safe. These will be built with the fisherman in mind so light weight, fast drying with plenty of pockets for passports or bait.
If you like the shirts, please order one. Currently we are just doing them on a “print per purchase” model to see if there is any interest. If you own a fishing store, please let us know if you’d like to order several.
